The Ghana Black Queens are currently ranked fourth in Africa, behind only Nigeria, South Africa, and Morocco, who are ranked first, second, and third, respectively, in the most recent FIFA rankings.
This demonstrates the team’s diligence and discipline, which Nora Hauptle has instilled. The group has made significant progress and is now eligible to compete in the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will take place in Morocco in June 2011.
The team’s next game is scheduled for February, when they play Zambia in the third round of the 2024 Olympic qualification tournament in Paris.
The Black Queens qualified with three victories, one defeat, two goals given up, and fifteen goals scored. This will be their first time participating in the WAFCON competition since Ghana hosted it in 2018.
