Former French Ligue 1 Champions Olympique Lyon upset Monaco with a 1-0 away win at the Stade Louis on Friday night.
The game saw Ernest Nuamah and Mohammed Salisu, who are both Ghanaians, play for both teams in the round-16 match of French Ligue 1.
Ernest Nuamah who played as a right winger for Lyon was replaced in the 86th minute of play and Salisu player the full throttle for Monaco.
In the 85th minute, Brazilian midfielder Jeffinho scored to give Lyon a stunning 1-0 win as the home side could ot find the back of Lyon’s net.
At the end of the game, Nuamah was rated 6.6 while Salisu had a rating of 8.2.
Both players are very much likely to make Chris Hughton’s Black Stars squad for the 2023 AFCON.
