Wilson Arthur has ben re-appointed by the Executive Council as Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee after being in charge for three seasons.
Oloboi Commodore, General Manager of the Accra Great Olympics, will hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Committee. Former Ghanaian player Afo Dodoo and Accra Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson Nwokolo have also joined the committee.
Under his direction, three consecutive competitions have been held in the last three seasons, despite the COVID-19 pandemic cutting short his first season.
Before Dreams FC defeated King Faisal to win the FA Cup last season, Accra Hearts of Oak won the FA Cup twice in a row in 2021 and 2022.
Since November 2019, the Committee has been led by Hon. Arthur, the owner of Skyy FC, a Division One League team, and Skyy Media Group.
