On Saturday, January 13, 2024, the Black Princesses and the Teranga Lionesses of Senegal will play the first leg of the last qualifying round.
The Black Princesses are hoping to earn a spot at the World Cup competition in Colombia this year, marking their eighth consecutive attendance. Coach Yussif Basigi has selected a formidable team of 23 players and the team is hopeful that they will secure a qualification ticket.
Senegal easily overcame Benin and Uganda in their most recent match, while the Black Princesses defeated Guinea Bissau and Eswatini to advance to the final round of qualifying.
The opening leg will start on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Thies Stade Lat-Dior when the Black Princesses play the Teranga Lionesses of Senegal.
