Multi award-winning artist, Sista Afia has shared personal details about her challenging past, including how a tragic broken heart sent her to a mental institution.
Sista Afia revealed this information and talked about how she did not find out about her boyfriend’s second marriage until a few days later in a recent interview.
She claimed that she had put a lot of money into her boyfriend for him to betray her in this way.
“I didn’t know he was getting married. I was blinded by love so I couldn’t see the signs. When I found out he had gotten married, I was heartbroken.
And it took me a long time to get over it. I was even admitted to the psychiatric hospital because of how broken I was. I will not be able to trust men for a while.” Sista Afia stated
Up until this recent revelation, no one knew for sure why the singer had been hibernating for such a long time.
