Lybian outfit Al Anwar have officially signed Ghanaian winger Paul Acquah from Nigerian giants Rivers United for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old gifted winger’s stellar performances for his previous club led to him dominating the Nigerian League. He made his CAF Confederation Cup debut for the Rivers, tallying 2 goals.
The Lybian team saw the former Heart of Oak player as someone who could help them keep up their good play in the Lybian League.
Acquah will be a tremendous asset and value for Al Anwar because of his extensive experience competing in the CAF Confederations Cup and Africa.
For Rivers United, his previous team, Acquah scored four goals and provided two assists. In the CAF Confederation Cup, he also scored twice.
