President of King Faisal Alhaji Grusah has warned the government not pay attention to FIFA cautioning to ban Ghana if the court case against the defunct Ghana Football Association is not withdrawn.
The world football governing body FIFA has written to the government of the Republic of Ghana cautioning that, the court case against the GFA should be withdrawn or faces the wrath of FIFA.
But speaking to Ahotor FM in Accra, the outspoken football administrator believes FIFA cannot implement laws for Ghana to follow so therefore the government should continue pursuing for the liquidation of the GFA.
“FIFA cannot tell us what to do in our own country, the government should forget withdrawing the case”, he said.
Meanwhile, FIFA has given August 27 as an ultimatum for the government to withdraw the court case or get ban from participating in all FIFA related activities.
