Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah, has signed a long-term deal with Al Nasr SC Benghazi of Libya.
The striker will join the North African team for the next two years after the Ghanaian champions accepted and inked the deal.
Sowah is departing Tarkwa, having spent an incredible year with the yellow and mauves.
In January 2023, the incredibly gifted striker signed a three-year contract to join Medeama from lower-tier team Danbort FC.
Since signing, Medeama’s attacking prowess has been propelled by Sowah, who played a crucial role in the team’s recent Ghana Premier League victory.
Sowah has scored seven goals in fifteen Ghana Premier League games this season, including three in the CAF Champions League.
He was included in Ghana’s final roster for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire due to his outstanding performance.
Sowah just made his debut for the Black Stars in a competitive match against Comoros during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
