The five-member committee charged with selecting a new head coach for the Black Stars has sent its findings to the Executive Council, according to confirmation from the Ghana Football Association.
The Executive Council has received the report and suggestions from the Ghana Black Stars head coach search committee, and they will now take action on Chris Hughton’s replacement.
The candidates comprise people who applied for the position as well as those who did not but are considered qualified coaches by the football regulatory body.
Kurt Okraku, the association’s president, has reportedly received the committee’s report and suggestions, which will now be examined by the Executive Council before being implemented, according to the GFA.
According to the GFA release, efforts will be made to seek the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and other significant stakeholders after a decision is made regarding the future Black Stars coach.
