The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) met Otumfour Osei Tutu II for his support regarding the 13th Africa Games as he was presented with the event torch.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 13th African Games was received by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace on March 4, 2024.
In addition to briefing Otumfuo about the continental sports competition, the delegation—led by Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister—also gave him the relay torch.
Together with Ibrahim Adjei Sowah, Kwesi Mantey, Reks Brobbey, and Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, the Executive Chairman of the LOC, comprised the delegation.
The event will kick off on Friday, March 8, 2024, and end on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
