The African Football Association’s current rankings have been made public following the Confederation Cup and African Champions League group stages.
If the ranking remains the same, the top twelve countries will field four clubs in the CAF interclub competitions for the upcoming season.
Dreams FC’s progress into the quarterfinals has caused Ghana to move up 13 spots. Recently, Ghanaian teams haven’t surpassed the group stages since Asante Koto and Hearts of Oak achieved that feat some years ago.
