Baba Musah Hamadu, a forward for Samartex, claims that he has met his goal with his team this season.
In 29 games played thus far this season, the 22-year-old attacker has scored 10 goals and provided six assists for Samartex.
After scoring a lot of goals for Skyy FC, the former Dreams FC player established himself as one of the lower division’s best scorers.
He scored 20 goals for the Daboase-based team in 2022/2023; this helped them place second in Zone Two of the Division One League.
On matchday 30 of the Premier League, Musah scored his tenth goal of the season as his team defeated Bofoakwa Tano 3-0. And in his own words, he’s accomplished his goal of hitting double figures in his debut season for the team.
“During my spell with Skyy FC, I scored a double figure goals in my first season to help my team finish second in the Division One League”
“My objective was to hit double figures with Samartex and it has come to pass. Having achieved my target, I will continue to work hard to move forward” he said.
With four games remaining in the season, Samartex 1996 lead the domestic top division with 55 points. But Samartex can win the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season with a little more effort.
