Regarding the demolition of a building at Millennium City in the Gomoa East District of the Central region that belonged to former Black Stars player Kissi Boateng, a suspected land guard has been taken into custody.
The police are currently pursuing two more people who are fugitives.
Mr. Boateng disclosed in an interview with Adom News that he registered the land after purchasing it from the Gomoa Nyanyano chief in 2015.
In addition, he paid 21st Century Construction and the Gomoa Fetteh stool after they asserted their ownership of the identical piece of land.
It was not until 2023, according to Mr. Boateng, that he faced legal action, as a group of landguards under the command of Winnibod Ndego and Illiasu began harassing him and threatening to destroy his building.
He acknowledged that he did not act because he thought they were just empty threats.
Unfortunately, three days ago, at around two in the morning, they arrived with an excavator and destroyed his two-bedroom building.
When the land guards broke into the property, according to a worker and a caregiver for the house, things went very wrong.
