The Ghana Football Association disciplinary committee has dismissed King Faisal Football Club for protesting against Basake Holy Stars Football Club for fielding an unqualified player in their Matchday 29 Game last weekend.
However, Daniel Adjei, also known as Daniel Kankam, and his former team, FC Barcelona Tarkwa, will face charges from the GFA. King Faisal was fined five thousand Ghana cedis (5,000 GH).
The Football Association instantly cancelled Daniel Adjei’s player license. The statements made by the disciplinary committee state that Daniel Adjei was moved from FC Barcelona Tarkwa to Basake Holy Stars FC, and that Holy Stars registered him using the information supplied by Barcelona.
Consequently, they refrained from disclosing the identity of Daniel Adjei, who is the same as Daniel Kankam. Holy Stars FC currently holds the title of Access Bank Division One League Zone Two champions.
