New Patriotic Party presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visits Ghana Black Stars ahead of the Central African Republic clash today in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
The Black Stars of Ghana defeated the Eagles of Mali 1-2 away in Bamako and they are poised to carry on their impressive win on Monday, 10 June 2024.
During the visit by the Vice President, he donated the sum of Ghc500,000 to the team to boost their morale.
After the kind gesture, the team captain Thomas Partey thanked him on behalf of the team and assured him of victory against the Central African Republic.
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, also praised the Vice President of Ghana and the New Patriotic Party Flag bearer for the 2024 General Elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his support in the Black Stars win over Mali.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, NPP National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye, and NPP National Chairman Stephen Ntim attended the event.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi at 7 PM.
