Real Tamale United FC (RTU) players have boycotted their match with Dreams Football Club due to more than five months of unpaid salary.
This is because their players refused to go for the match due to the club’s failure to pay them their salary, which has been in arrears for more than 5 months.
The already-relegated Ghana Premier League team will take on Dreams FC of Dawu. Dreams FC’s fight against relegation depends heavily on this match.
Dreams FC’s chances of surviving the Ghana Premier League will increase with the acquisition of these three extremely valuable points.
The players only asked for a two-month partial payment, which the club’s management turned down.
According to sources, the management has invited players from Division Two club Galaxy FC to play against Dreams as a result of Real Tamale United players’ boycotts.
