Ghanaian and Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana recently returned to his hometown in the Northern Region of Ghana for a visit.
Sulemana was warmly welcomed by family and friends during his trip, which coincided with the Eid-al-Adha festival.
Photos show him participating in traditional activities, including helping his mother cut firewood, a gesture reminiscent of his childhood.
The Southampton defender is still on vacation as most European teams are on break. Moreover, the majority of the players who are based in Europe are participating in the Euro 2024.
Kamaldeen was part of the Ghana Black Stars squad which played in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.
Ghana Blac Stars took six maximum points from both games as they now sit second on the table with Comoros leading.
