Enoch Morrison, a midfielder for Asante Kotoko, has mutually agreed to leave the club after two years with the Porcupine Warriors.
Despite this, head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his intention to exclude Morrison in his plans for the upcoming season, leaving the 24-year-old’s future uncertain.
Morrison revealed that he received a call from the coach informing him that he was not part of his plans for the upcoming season.
He expressed his disappointment, stating that he believed Kotoko was his beloved team and he was eager to achieve success with the club.
Morrison, in an interview on Kessben TV, stated that the coach emphasized that the termination of his contract was not related to his performance. He accepted the decision in good faith as a professional player.

The talented, versatile midfielder played a crucial role in several important matches for the Porcupine Warriors and was one of the most improved players in the team last season.
However, it is unclear why his contract has been terminated. Morrison was signed from rivals King Faisal Babes and made 31 appearances during his first season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
