The governing New Patriotic Party has successfully unveiling Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate.
The party’s stronghold, Kumasi Jubilee Park in the Ashanti Region, hosted the event which brought nearly all of the party’s notable individuals, including President Akufo-Addo, the Council of Elders, members of parliament, and other important figures together.
Matthew Opoku Prempeh who is a medical doctor and the current Energy Minister was first introduced to the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu IIwhi advised him on his new political journey and Vice President aspirations.
In a highly enthusiastic speech, Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as NAPO urged Ghana’s and members of the New Patriotic Party to vote massively for the NPP especially at Presidential level as they hope to break the eight.
The New Patriotic Party will go to the polls against the National Democratic Congress and the New Force in December this year.
