Lois Abena Koranteng, a 24-year-old recent graduate of Petroleum Engineering from KNUST, tragically lost her life under mysterious circumstances while on a business trip with her employer.
On June 7th, 2024, Lois and her boss, along with their driver, checked into a hotel in Takoradi, each staying in separate rooms.
However, the following morning, on June 8th, a hotel staff member discovered Lois’s lifeless body in the hotel swimming pool, clad only in her underwear.
Despite immediate efforts to transport her to the hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Initial investigations by the police revealed no visible signs of injury, and the hotel stated that its CCTV cameras were not operational during the incident, resulting in a lack of footage.
EDHUB reports that a postmortem has been conducted, and the results are currently in the possession of the police, who are actively pursuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Lois’s death.
