Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ankrah has joined FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC ahead of the start of the new season.
The centre-back, who was on the radar of Asante Kotoko and Young Apostle, decided to join Nsoatreman FC after reaching an agreement with the club.
He joins them from Bofoakwa Tano, who were relegated at the end of the previous season.
Despite their relegation, the 19-year-old stood out in both the league and the FA Cup, helping the Sunyani-based team reach the Cup final.
The defender is expected to be crucial to the team’s success in both local and African competitions the next season.
Next season, Nsoatreman will play for Ghana at the CAF Confederation Cup. They will play Elect Sport of Chad in the competition’s opening round.
