The scope of the project includes –

The School Junction-Motorway Road will serve as a major East-West urban Arterial from Awoshie, Ofankor, Pokuase to the Central Business District (CBD) of Accra. A viable alternative to Nsawam-Kwame Nkrumah Avenue/Kojo Thompson Road and Aburi Road-Redemption Road-Independence Avenue.
The project was executed by an indigenous Ghanaian Contractor, Oswal Investments Ltd.
