The Ghana Football Association has scheduled August 28, 2024 to September 4, 2024 is the scheduled as the dates for the free License D Coaching Course for Colts and Women’s club coaches in the Western Region.
The goal of this program is to improve the abilities and expertise of regional football coaches, which will raise the standard of coaching at the grassroots level throughout the area.
There will be 40 participants in all, 30 Colts coaches and 10 female coaches, at the event, which will be held at the Essiama Secondary Technical School.
The GFA’s dedication to promoting inclusive development in Ghanaian football is shown in this diversified group, which guarantees that both male and female coaches receive the training required to properly nurture and develop potential.
Apart from the fundamental coaching curriculum, the participants will be trained in GFA/FIFA Safeguarding. This element is essential for providing coaches with the information and resources they need to safeguard the wellbeing and safety of young athletes and foster a safe and encouraging environment in sports.
Experienced trainers Evans Augustine Adotey, Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, and Kingsley Sagoe will be in charge of the training sessions.
This course is a component of the GFA’s larger plan to improve coaching quality across the country in order to build a solid foundation for Ghanaian football in the future.
