Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have confirmed the transfer of teenager Abdul Aziz Issah to FC Barcelona in Spain.
Amidst several posts on social media, the confirmation has being made by Abdul Aziz Issah’s former club.
The 18-year-old wonderkid completed his move on transfer deadline day.
Issah who is adjudged by CAF as one of the best youngsters on the continent emerged top scorer in last season’s Confederation Cup.
The 18 year old was magnificent both locally and at the international front as his impressive performances propelled Dreams FC to an amazing CAF Confederations Cup campaign last season.
His contributions were impressive as he made 6 goal contributions that is four goals and two assists in 10 games to help Dreams reach a historic semi-final berth in the African club competition, only missing out to eventual winners and Egyptian giants Zamalek.
The sensational winger made 17 goal contributions (7 goals and 10 assists) in the Ghana Premier League last season.
He also scored four goals in five games in the FA Cup competition.
On the national front, Issah was a key player for the Ghana U20 team that won gold in the Africa Games.
Issah joined the first team at Dreams FC in 2022 having come through the club’s youth ranks- Still Believe and In God We Trust FC respectively.
Abdul Aziz Issah will play for Barcelona’s B side with hopes of finding himself in the first team someday.
His move to one of the biggest clubs in the world represents a massive milestone in the history of Dreams FC, one which everyone connected to club is proud of.
Dreams FC have wished the teenager well in a Facebook post that reads “The entire Dreams FC family wishes the youngster the very best as he embarks on this new exciting journey.”
