Hearts of Oak have refuted claims that suggest they have issued a five-game ultimatum to head coach Aboubakar Ouattara in an attempt to turn around the team’s performance.
The Phobians’ season has started badly as they lost their Ghana Premier League opening 1-0 to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars.
Since his appointment in February 2024, Ouattara has lost eight games and won seven.
In a statement, the team’s management and the NCC, the group that leads the supporters, called on all Phobians to support the team without reservation as we begin the new football season.
The club called the reports “entirely false and fabricated, and should be disregarded” in a statement.
This is to make sure that, despite the setback on match day one, that their shared goal of success is realised.
Hearts’ second Premier League matchup is against Heart of Lions, and they will travel to Kpando in an attempt to pick their first three points of the season.
