The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia commissioned 1,072 affordable housing units at Community 26, Tema and broke ground for an additional 800 housing units.
Dr Bawumia commissioed phases 1, 2 and 3, respectively, of the Kpone (Comm. 26) Affordable Housing Project, a 1070 housing unit project.
The Government has also provided 1,000s housing units for the Ghana Police Service, Military and other Security Services.
These developments are part of government’s commitment to provide decent and affordable housing units to the citizenry.
The Vice President has outlined an ambitious strategy to address Ghana’s housing deficit and modernize its land administration system as part of broader efforts to drive economic growth and development.
