Nigerian singer Speed Darlington, whose real name is Akpi, has been arrested in Owerri, Nigeria.
Darlington was previously arrested for allegedly defaming Burna Boy, but he continued to make comments about the artist after fleeing to the United States.
He was arrested upon his return to Nigeria and was detained after a warrant was issued for him. Burna Boy has reportedly instructed that Akpi be sent to Kirikiri prison.
Burna Boy stated, “If it means spending all my wealth, I will do so to ensure you face the consequences of your actions.”
