Former Liberia warlord and Nimba County Senator, Prince Yormie Johnson has died on Thursday 28 November 2024 at the age of 72.
The former warlord collapsed in his bathroom during a shower and went into a coma. He was later confirmed dead upon arrival at a local health facility.

Confirmed Johnson’s death. Jallah said Johnson was the longest-serving senator in the country.
Prince Johnson served as a senator for Nimba County since 2006. He was a former rebel leader who played a prominent role in the First Liberian Civil War.
Prince Johnson was later forced into exile in Nigeria.
