Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the Senior National Team, the Black Stars.
Kurt expressed optimism and calls on Ghanaians to be truly patriotic and support the Black Stars. He urged Ghanaians to support the Black Stars after he added new faces to the revamped Black Stars technical team.
The Ghana Football Association recently announced that because of the poor performance of the Black Stars, they have added some noted and experienced Football expert to help Otoo Addo shape the Black Stars to become formidable and competitive.
One of the noted names included in the revamped technical team is former Cameroon coach Anton Schafer. Kurt Okraku issued the following statement after adding the new faces to the Black Stars Technical team;
“With the announcement of both the management committee of the Black Stars and a revamped technical team, it’s now our time to be truly Ghanaian and get behind our team once again.
“Ghana, our beloved country, has gone through this challenging period before, but by sticking together, we always came out stronger. Our players need you!! Our players need us. It is time!!!!”
Kurt Okraku has received some bashing and supporters has been calling for his resignation after the Black Stars failed to qualify for the AFCON which will be staged in Morocco.
