Isaac Amoako, who once served as Asante Kotoko captain, has reiterated his disapproval of the incident that occurred at Nsoatreman during their match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The stopper was deeply saddened and in complete mourning over the incident that has been widely condemned. Amoako pointed out that obtaining necessary investors for the Ghana Premiere League would be difficult due to such an incident, and urged Ghanaians and authorities to learn from what took place.
He said during an interview on Citi Sports,
“No one enjoys investing in a product that brings this kind of thing, hooliganism. Nobody wants to associate himself with those kinds of behaviours.
As Ghanaians, and a football country, we should learn from certain things. We have come of age, and those things should stop. What happened yesterday started with the players and generated into the supporters, which brought the sudden death of this young supporter.
Amoako was a player for Liberty and Asante Kotoko before he made his debut for Al Waddad in Dubai.
