Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams has called on football administrators, supporters and Ghanaians as a whole to help make the Ghana Premiere League attractive. He made the plea after the shocking incident that rocked Ghana Football.
The act of hooliganism in Ghana Football is becoming rampant and serious that must be rooted out from the game that should bring people together. Mr. Adams went on to say that no brand is ready to associate themselves with Ghanaian League as it is not attractive to the supporters, how much more investors.
He also urged the clubs to improve their corporate structures to be more visible to attract investors. On Asempa an Accra based FM he said,
“The act of hooliganism must stop because no brand would want to associate themselves with something that is bad, so we must find a way to make the Premier League attractive. The clubs must improve their corporate structures and must be more visible to attract sponsors; without that, I don’t believe corporate sponsors will be interested.”
