Former Ghana international Godwin Attram has lauded Stephen Appiah’s return to the Black Stars management team as he sees it as a good omen for the Black Stars going into the World Cup qualifiers. He indicated that what makes his return exceptional is Appiah’s leadership qualities as he has been there before.
Attram also seconded the inclusion of former Secretary of the GFA Randy Abbey to the management set up. He said Abbey previous knowledge about the administration of the management team and the GFA will go a long way to help the team achieve it’s goals. He finally urged Appiah to be bold enough to talk to the team as he is aware of what Ghanaians want from the players.
“Yes, it will help the team because Stephen Appiah has once captained the team before, and Randy Abbey has also been with the Black Stars before.
He understands what’s called administration and has good management skills as well, which can help the team, but in all, I believe Stephen Appiah should be bold enough to speak to the team for them to know what Ghanaians are looking for” he told Oil City Radio 95.9.
