Winner of the StarTimes Cup will be taking home GHS 15,000 according to Chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association, Mr. Kudjoe Fiano.
The StarTimes Cup will include all 16 Ghana Premier League clubs and 36 selected Division One League clubs from the three zonal leagues.
Kudjoe Fiano in an interview with Oyerepa FM revealed that the budget for the tournament is GHS 990,000 and at every stage of the tournament clubs will be awarded a certain amount which he was unable to name.
“Per our budget the winner will earn 15000 CEDIS because the whole competition will cost 990,000 ”

“52 clubs in all will be participating, 16 premier clubs and 36 division one league clubs
“we are still in talks with Star times to increase the sponsorship amount”.
According to the league clubs chairman, proposals have been sent to other agencies to increase the budget for the tournament.
“We have written to government to also come on board ,our marketing guys are also in talks with Zylophone cash and MTN” – Kudjoe Fiano told Oyerepa FM.
