Swindon Town goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacot has expressed his excitement for making his Black Stars debut.
The 25-year old was in the sticks when Ghana defeated Zimbabwe in the 2022 world cup qualifiers.[ads2]
Wollacot was handed the starting berth in the crucial game ahead of second-choice goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi and Hearts of Oak’s Richard Attah.
This came as very shocking to many Ghanaians but he impressed throughout the ninety minutes for the Black Stars.[ads3]
He was composed and very calm in the sticks for Ghana despite conceding a goal from the spot kick.
The English-born goalkeeper, on social media, expressed his excitement for making his debut for the Black Stars in a game they won 3:1.
He described his debut as a dream come true.[ads4]

Meanwhile, coach Milovan Rajevac has also praised the goalkeeper for an amazing performance against Zimbabwe.
“First of all it was good scouting and when he arrived he proved himself at the training sessions, he really did a great job, he deserves his chance.
“Today he was at the top of his game and I’m satisfied with his performances and I don’t want to praise goalkeepers too much but he really did a good job today.” Milovan Rajevac said through his interpreter.[ads5]
