There has been an accident at Anyinasusu in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region that has resulted in three deaths and several injuries.
The gory accidents involved a Yutong bus traveling from Kumasi to Gaaru and a Rhino vehicle. According to sources, the tragic incident occurred on Tuesday around 11 p.m.
Ibrahim Yogo, the Assemblyman for Anyinasusu, confirmed the incident to the media and stated that the three individuals passed away immediately.
Mr. Yogo said that the lack of speed bumps on the route was the cause of the collision.
He described how the driver of the speeding bus overtook and struck the truck that was hauling mangoes at the moment.
The bodies of the deceased have been placed in the mortuary, and the victims are presently undergoing treatment at St. Patrick’s Government Hospital.
