Tamale-based referee Abdul Latif Adaari has been handed Sunday’s cracker between Ashantigold Sporting Club and Medeama Sporting Club in the quarterfinals of the NC Special Competition tier 2 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
Adaari will be supported on the lines by Kwasi Brobbey Acheampong as the line one with Augustine Suglo Dakurah as the line two.
Yakubu Hassim will be serving as the fourth referee with Mike Komla Amedior as the match commissioner.
Already Ashantigold Sporting Club have secured a semi-final ticket in the tier one of the Special Competition and will face off Karela United while Medeama Sporting Club failed to reach the semi-final of the tier one after losing out to Kumasi Asante Kotoko on head-to-head basis.
The game promises to be exciting as Medeama Sporting Club are determined to book a semi-final ticket to keep the dream of representing Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup alive with Ashgold hoping to continue their home dominance.
