Hearts of Oak, have announced that Abdul Rahim Bashiru, their assistant coach, will be the interim coach of the club.
This follows the sacking of Martin Koopman which was made official today.With the departure of Koopman, Bashiru will now assume temporary leadership of Heart Of Oak’s technical team.
“The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak has appointed the club’s assistant coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru, as the acting head coach. His appointment takes immediate effect.
This follows the mutual termination of the contract between the club and the Dutchman trainer, Martinus Koopman
Ahead of his appointment, Coach Bashiru had a very fruitful discussion with the management and thanked them for reposing confidence in him and promised to work for the betterment of the team” an official statement from the club confirms Abdul Rahim Bashiru’s appointment.
Abdul Rahim Bashiru’s will be on the bench for Hearts Of Oak when the take on Accra Lions on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
