Ghanaian female boxer, Abigail Quartey has become Ghana’s first-ever female world boxing champion after winning the WIBF World Title At Bukom Boxing Arena.

Abigail Quartey won the Super Bantamweight title on Sunday, November 24, 2024 and wrote her name in the history books of Ghana and World Boxing as she becomes Ghana’s first female world champion after defeating United Kingdom’s Sangeeta Birdie in a thrilling WIBF World Title bout.
