No other Serie A player has contributed more goals than the Portuguese sensation Rafael Leao this season, with seven goals and six assists in 17 appearances across all competitions, according to Il Corriere dello Sport highlights.
The Portuguese forward has been showing his value in the second half of the season, but his only goal from September to February was a goal against PSG in a Champions League group stage match in November 2023.
He has scored three times in four Europa League matches and provided two assists. He also scored in Coppa Italia matches against Cagliari and Atalanta.
With two goals and four assists in 11 league games since the beginning of 2024, he is now the Serie A player with the most goal contributions across all competitions since January.
In the Europa League quarterfinals, Milan—now ranked second in the Serie A standings—will take on rival team Roma.
