Accra Hearts of Oak is close to signing highly-rated center-back Michael Awuah Mensah from Nations FC.
The talented defender is expected to sign a three-year deal to keep him at the club until the 2027/28 season.
Sources close to the negotiations indicate that the two clubs have reached an advanced stage in talks, with a personal agreement between Michael Awuah and Hearts imminent.
The signing of Michael would be a significant coup for Hearts, who have been seeking to bolster their defense ahead of the new season.
The arrival of Awuah would be a welcome addition to the squad for the Phobians. Awuah was also scouted by Asante Kotoko but it now seems Hearts of Oak will carry his signature.
