“It’s very clear to me in my days at Asante Kotoko that sports is business. If you can’t structure yourself that you are able to talk to business for other opportunities, then let say that you are just basically begging.”[ads1]
“We are running sports and its either we are begging government, the NSA or Otumfour or whoever it is for money to run it. That is not the way sports should be run. You need to structure the sports so you can get the right relationships with business,” he advised.
Mr Herbert Mensah further said the so-called lesser-known sports Managers always find it difficult to run their disciplines because they are not innovative.[ads4]
“As an Administrator, you have to restructure yourself in such a way that you might over a period of time able to raise money for the sports.” He noted
