Ashantigold SC head coach Svetislav Tanasijevic says Aduana Stars gave his side a difficult test in their game at Dormaa today.
The Miners held the Ogya Boys to a goalless stalemate in the week three of the Normalization Committee’ Special Competition at Dormaa.
The two clubs failed to snatch the three maximum points in the cagey encounter which was a ding-dong affair.
Speaking to pressmen after the game today, the Serbian hailed the Dormaa based side for a splendid performance against his side even though both teams failed to score in the encounter.
“Aduana Stars played very well today and really gave us a tough test”, he said.
“Prior to the game, my side were determined to snatch the three points but couldn’t due to how impressive Aduana Stars were.
Aduana Stars finished the first round of the group stages with four points whilst Ashgold secured five points to place second in the Zone A table.
