The team after several days of camping here in Ghana is ready for the tournament.
The Black Stars had earlier played a goal less draw with Namibia on Monday night in an AFCON preparatory friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Also as part of their camping activities, the Black Stars had a farewell dinner with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo last night Tuesday January 9, 2024 at the Golden Beam Hotel in Kumasi.
President Akufo-Addo gave the squad a farewell speech encouraging them to go to Ivory Coast and succeed there.
Ghana has been paired in Group D with Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.
The 2023 AFCON comes off from January 13, 2024, through to February 11, 2024.
