After his song titled “My level” was heard playing at the stadium in the ongoing African Cup of Nations competition in Ivory Coast, Shatta Wale issued a special thank-you note to the DJs.
Even though Ghana isn’t participating in the current African Cup of Nations competition after crashing out of the group stages, the country’s music is still quite popular in Ivory Coast.
The dancehall artist’s song “My Level” could be heard being played loudly at one of the stadiums in a video that Shatta Wale posted.
In response to the cute video, Shatta Wale posted it on his Facebook page. He expressed his gratitude to the DJs for using music to influence the event.
“Thanks to the DJs at the AFCON in Ivory Coast, l see all the love. I appreciate. One Africa” he wrote.
When “My Level” was released back in 2018, it was unquestionably one of Shatta Wale’s biggest singles of the year and his whole career, winning him numerous accolades.
So, it comes as no surprise that the song is still quite popular in 2024 and is performed at a major competition like the African Cup of Nations.
