The Black Stars will play Angola at Baba Yara Stadium to start their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign.
The match was confirmed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday. The game is scheduled to begin at 16:00 on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Black Stars will depart for Niger to play their second Group F match.
The Black Stars are keen to continue their winning ways after their recent success, which included victory against Mali and the Central African Republic in back-to-back 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana is grouped with Niger, Angola, and Sudan in Group F. The top two teams from this group will go to Morocco for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations tournament the following year.
