Black Stars coach Otto Addo is set to announce his squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at the GFA conference room at 1 PM.
The announcement will be eagerly anticipated by Ghanaian football fans, who are keen to see which players the coach has selected to represent the country in the crucial double-header against Sudan.
The Black Stars will be aiming to bounce back from their disappointing start from previous two games which has seen them lose 1-0 to Angola and draw 1-1 with Niger.
Not so much changes will be made to the team that last played against Niger but a few players are likely to make a return to the squad after recuperating from injuries.
The task at hand is a big one as Ghana’s opponent have James Kwesi Appiah a former Black Stars Coach and experienced African gaffer as their Coach.
Ghana will have to secure maximum points against Sudan to keep their hopes of qualifying for the 2025 AFCON alive.
