Africa Science Academy has held a successful graduation ceremony for this year’s batch in Accra.
The founder of the academy who double as Chairman of the England Rugby Football, Tom Ilube joined the batch to celebrate the graduation.
The Africa Science Academy is to groom and give out scholarships to female students across Africa to change their life pathways with the hope of preparing them for the future and to gain admission into the various universities across the globe.
Rafatu Inusah, board member of the Ghana Rugby Union, was among the few honoured with an invitation for the ceremony.
Her invitation was from Tom Ilube but Herbert Mensah who is the President of the Ghana Rugby Union was also handed an invitation but couldn’t attend due to some personal issues.
Rafatu Inusah was handed a book by Tom Ilube written by the head coach of England rugby team, Eddie Jones to be given to Herbert Mensah, following his enormous contribution towards the growth of rugby in not only Ghana but Africa at large.
The Africa Science Academy helps to develop bright females in Mathematics and Science recognizing that the world is now a technological space.
The academy also give scholarships to girls across Africa in the hope of preparing them to gain admission into the various universities across the globe with the belief that women can help change the World.
