Ahenkofi defied all odds to clinch the maiden edition of the western region inter-community gala which was held at the Takoradi Police Park.
The one month tournament started with 16 communities who were grouped into four groups. The format was an all play all in each group and the first two community from each group will progress to the next round.
Ahenkofi emerged as the winners after they defeated Ntakorful by 7 goals to 6 on penalties in the finale.

First runner up – Ntakorful
Second runer up – Railway
Third runner up – Kasanworodo
