Former President, John Dramani Mahama has described the entire six years of the President Akufo-Addo’s administration as wasteful especially in the energy sector.[ads2]
According to him, before leaving office as the president, he left behind the Tweneboa Enyenra Ntomme (TEN) and Sankofa fields.
But Mr Mahama believes since Akufo-Addo assumed office as the president of the republic, no additional production activity has been done in the upstream oil sector for the past seven years.[ads3]
In a tweet, Mr Mahama said “Wasted years! We bequeathed to the Akufo-Addo gov’t two new oil fields, TEN and Sankofa. Greed and ineptitude as against national interest mean a sad reality of no additional production activity in our upstream oil sector in the last 7 years.”
