In a video that has recently gone viral on social media where President Akufo-Addo walk passed Vice President Dr. Bawumia who had bowed and looked forward to a handshake in an event that was held at the Jubilee House has caused a stir as social media users have since been talking, with many thinking the two are not in good terms.
The NPP communicators disregarded the incidence saying it was simply a protocol mishap as the President might not have been made aware there will be greeting sessions.
The Launch of the Presidential Business Support Programme brought together 1,350 businesses, from all 10 regions of the country, who are first beneficiaries of the government’s Support Programme at the Flagstaff House, each of the 1,350 beneficiaries will receive from the Ministry of Business Development, continuous training and capacity building, mentorship and business advisory services, free accounting services, access to business networking opportunities and seed capital ranging from GH¢10,000 to GH¢100,000 each.
Speaking at the event on Tuesday, 7th August, 2018, at Jubilee House, the seat of the nation’s Presidency, the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, noted that over the past two decades, the countries that have made rapid economic strides have been the ones that have encouraged high levels of investment in entrepreneur development.
Many on social media are saying at least the president should have politely done something in respond to Dr. Bawumia’s request than barely walking passed him. Watch the video below and share what you think.
